Co-Creating Sales Success
Co-Creating Sales Success
Tuesday, August 14, 3 PM ET

Most sales professionals would agree that our current and prospective clients buy differently in today’s dynamic market. Not just products or services, but credibility, repute, and their perception of your personal and organizational brand, value proposition (how will I be better off because we’re in a relationship together), and how you fit in their daily journey (we’re all guests!). I’ve been through Nine (9) different sales methodologies over the years, and they’ve all been valuable. Unfortunately, they’re also all trying to sell in today’s complex business environment, using 1950s models of buyer-seller interactions, objection handling, negotiation tactics, and push mentality!

It’s time to think and lead differently. You’re no longer the smartest person in the room, and you don’t have all the answers. It’s time to stop pushing and start creating market gravity. It’s time to Co-Create alternative paths to success with those who experience your demonstrated interest in their success. Only when they know, like, and trust you, will they begin to collaborate with you in solving complex challenges or addressing enormous upside opportunities. Otherwise, you better start dialing for dollars and let the rest of us know how all that cold calling is going for you!

Co-Creating The Future of Project Management and Strategy Implementation
Co-Creating The Future of Project Management and Strategy Implementation
Tuesday, September 18, 3 PM ET

Spend five minutes in project management and you’ll understand why many project management professionals’ (PMPs) best day is when nothing goes wrong! The entire industry understands that it’s time to move away from firefighting to fire prevention. So, what will the future of project management look like? How will we move from the tactical doing to more strategic thinking? How will PMPs elevate their business acumen to think, discuss, and prioritize their investments towards outcomes (business results) vs. input (9-steps, 14 boxes, and countless project plans) which although important, matters a great deal less.

We believe there are better ways and project management as a profession, must focus on strategy execution – which by the way, consistently eludes even the best global organizations and their project teams!

Join Global Thinkers50 2017 Distinguished Achievement Award recipient for Ideas in Practice, Antonio Nieto-Rodrigues, PDUs2Go.com founder Jennifer Bridges, and Best-Selling author of Relationship Economics and Co-Create, David Nour as we explore the evolution of project management and strategy implementation.

Like many, in your due diligence for higher education, you looked at the broad spectrum of degrees offered, the pedigree of professors teaching those course loads, perhaps school rankings in your desired field, or the quality of life the physical campus or extracurricular activities may have offered. Yet, many ignore one of the most valuable assets in gaining higher education – a global network of alums. From entrepreneurs to corporate executives and board members, in every imaginable field from financial services to healthcare and law, the Emory network is vast and surprisingly has a vast global footprint.

But to maximize its impact on your personal and professional growth, you need to learn how to discover its hidden gems, the right (and the wrong) ways to reach out and connect with value-add, and how to build on the relationships you have with the ones you need to accelerate your performance, execution, and results. In short, you need to understand Relationship Currency, Reputation Capital, and Professional Net Worth!

Join global thinker, senior leadership/board advisor, best-selling author, international speaker, venture partner and Emory GBS ‘00EMBA alum, David Nour, as he shares critical insights from his books Relationship Economics, ConnectAbility, Return on Impact, and most recently Co-Create on how to maximize your global Emory Network. This webinar shows you how to get others to invest their time and effort in your organization’s success… and what you need to offer them in return. Co-creation is about creating market gravity that pulls customers, employees, and talent towards your company. Co-creation fosters brand influence that leads others to engage in actions and attitudes that lift your business and its offerings. It changes your position from keeping up with market changes to driving innovation. But Co-creation only works when both sides reduce their self-interest. Co-creation doesn’t mean anyone forgets their self-interest; it says all parties believe they are stronger together.

Companies that consistently create exceptional customer experiences set themselves apart from their competitive peers. In the Co-Create economy, brands are a guest in their customer’s journey. This reverse perspective is critical if you're to truly understand how customers think, what motivates them, why they buy, how they’ll apply their perceived value received, and why they constantly return to evaluate. In this session, we review the sixunique customer experience journey stages and the critical attention that needs to be paid to retention in the "Jerry Maguire" business model. David also introduces needs-based segmentation and its forward-looking insights in helping you anticipate what your customer will need next.

What does the "Hollywood Talent Model" has to do with the evolution of your business? They've been leveraging the so-called "gig economy" model for years. What's important for you to understand is that in any evolution – of an individual, a team or an organization - certain ingredients are critical: passion, evangelism, new organizational structures, reporting dynamics, and purposeful, provocative leadership. In this session, we’ll discuss the mindset of a balanced approach between organizational learning and performance metrics, prudent risk-taking, embracing the fear of failing to learn and grow in the process of nurturing a relationship-centric culture. David uses examples such as Kevin Plank at Under Armour to illustrate the evolution of a great brand – from just athletic clothing to massive tech acquisitions to nurture digital communities.
